At 3:15 this afternoon, we received word that Bro. Ryan Corbin was in recovery, and doing “well”! Sis. Hannah Corbin had not yet been in to see him, nor spoken with a physician… We should know more shortly…
Again, thanks be unto God!

We just received word that Bro. Eric Urquhart had the “dye test” performed today. Upon the completion of the test, it was necessary for them to put one stint in one of his arteries. They also were able to confirm that he received minimal heart damage from the heart attack he experienced. He will be released tomorrow morning!!!
Please join us in thanking God for this GREAT report! Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Brother and Sister McKillop,
Â
I’m sending choice Christian greetings your way, and my fervent prayer is that the Lord will strengthen and uplift you, today.
Â
Numerous Scriptures are dancing in my heart; however, a couple in particular seem most pronounced for this occasion … first: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” and, next: “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” I’m writing, this morning, to say a big “thank you” for the consistent support you provide for the “Ethiopian Endeavor.” I want to assure you that the faithfulness of your offerings over the past year have helped make it possible for Truth to prevail in a land that was engulfed in false doctrine just a few years ago.
Â
Three separate teams of- ministers travelled to the country of Ethiopia in 2009 (at their own expense) for the express purpose of strengthening the hands of good brethren “of like precious faith” and, also, to undergird the capable leadership of Brother Solomon Lodamo and our faithful Elders, there. Overall, the Ethiopian Church continues to witness healthy increase both in the area of numerical growth and spiritual development… and, for such victories, we give all the glory to God!
Â
Just a few days ago, I returned from the first of two Ethiopian visits/trips that I intend to make during this calendar year. Needless to say, I’m most grateful for the capable ministry of Brother Jason Calhoun of Texarkana, Texas, and Bishop Aston Ngota from Nairobi, Kenya, who carried much of the ministry load on this particular journey…they are fellow servants in the Gospel work, indeed. (more…)

Last night, Bro. Eric Urquhart had a heart attack, and is presently hospitalized in Hotel Dieu, in Perth Andover. Doctors are uncertain of the extent of the damage, etc. He is currently awaiting transportation to Saint John for further testing. After he was stabilized last evening, he put in a relatively uneventful night, for which we are grateful! Please keep him and his family in our prayers! We will keep you updated with the latest!

Tonight, I am posting the following information to ask the church to pray on behalf of a special lady within our congregation. For the past couple of weeks, Sis. Val Corcoran has been awaiting an exploratory procedure to determine whether or not the health complications she was experiencing were of cancerous nature. This morning she had the procedure performed, and it was confirmed that in fact she does have cancer of the bladder. The doctor feels that it was caught in the early stages, and for this we are grateful! Please join together with us, as we pray that God’s will is done in this situation.
Although many within the congregation did not know of this ongoing situation, God knew! It is NOT COINCIDENTAL that we had the kind of service that we did last night! Regardless of doctors reports, man’s predictions or the doubters questions, God is still a BIG GOD! “Problem, look at my God!” For those within our church that are struggling with health complications (or any other situations), stand firm on the revelation that He which hath begun a good work in us IS ABLE to complete it!
So, once again FWC, let us join together in prayer on behalf of our sister! God is able!

Over the past two weekends, we have had the privilege of baptizing 4 of our young boys in Jesus’ name! One week ago Sunday night Adam, Cory & Even Edgar were baptized. Then, this past Sunday night Skyler Clark’s sins were buried in Jesus’ name! Oh! What a name! Thank God for the opportunity to baptize “children” in Jesus’ name!
