Here is an update on Brooke’s present health status:

It has been confirmed that she has a couple of infections. They are presently administering oral meds for treatment. If her temperature stays down, she will be able to return home today.

Let us continue to pray toward this end.

We have just received word from Bro. & Sis. Caleb Corbin, that their newborn (nearly 3 month old) daughter, Brooke is in need of prayer.

Brooke has been abnormally fussy for the last few days. This afternoon things seemed to escalate. Her fever was high, etc. Upon further examination by medical professionals, it was noted that Brooke’s white blood cell count was abnormal. As a result, she is presently being transported to the DECH in Fredericton for further observation/treatment. Sis. Candice Corbin was able to travel with her baby in the ambulance…

We will keep the FWC Blog updated with the latest developments on Brooke’s health condition. In the meantime, please cover them with your prayers. Thanks in advance.

Yesterday, at the FWC, we had the privilege of dedicating two precious baby’s to the Lord. There was a precious presence of the Lord witnessed during this dedication service. Below are a few snapshots of the service in progress:

Hillary Clinton once stated, “It Takes A Village To Raise A Child.” Around here, we are of the persuasion that it additionally takes a church to raise a child. It is the commitment of both the leadership, and the members of the Family Worship Center to make our church a “safe place” to raise these children. May God help us.

Once again, congratulations to the parents and families of these beautiful children.

First of all, allow me to extend heartfelt holiday wishes to each and every one of you. God has been good to the Family Worship Center this year.

Secondly, we have just received an update from Sis. Rhonda Edgar regarding her sister, Julie Tompkins’ health status. As you are aware, she was initially taken in for surgery earlier this week. However, due to additional complications she was taken in for an additional surgical procedure yesterday afternoon. Please continue to remember her in prayer.

In addition, Sis. Rhonda’s father (Gerald Goodine), was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Fredericton with some health issues. For sure, this family has been through it during recent months. If they have ever needed our prayers and support, NOW is the time.

While you are gathered with friends and family on this Christmas Day, please take a few moments to remember Sis. Rhonda and her family. We know that God is ABLE, and has it all in control. Thanks in advance!

"My Times are in His hands..."

"My Times are in His hands..."

It has been said that, “Worry is stewing, without doing. It’s interest paid on trouble which never comes due! Worry prevents God from doing anything for us.” By definition, according to Wikipedia, worry is the state of engaging in chains of thoughts and images of a negative and an uncontrollable nature in which mental attempts are made to avoid anticipated potential threats.

Could these be why the writer admonishes that we “gird up the loins of our minds”? We must endeavour to deal with worry while it remains a ’state of mind’ before it becomes a ’state of being’! Remember, God has EVERYTHING in His control!
