At 3:15 this afternoon, we received word that Bro. Ryan Corbin was in recovery, and doing “well”! Sis. Hannah Corbin had not yet been in to see him, nor spoken with a physician… We should know more shortly…

Again, thanks be unto God!

We just received word that Bro. Eric Urquhart had the “dye test” performed today. Upon the completion of the test, it was necessary for them to put one stint in one of his arteries. They also were able to confirm that he received minimal heart damage from the heart attack he experienced. He will be released tomorrow morning!!!

Please join us in thanking God for this GREAT report! Thank you for your prayers.

Last night, Bro. Eric Urquhart had a heart attack, and is presently hospitalized in Hotel Dieu, in Perth Andover. Doctors are uncertain of the extent of the damage, etc. He is currently awaiting transportation to Saint John for further testing. After he was stabilized last evening, he put in a relatively uneventful night, for which we are grateful! Please keep him and his family in our prayers! We will keep you updated with the latest!

Tonight, I am posting the following information to ask the church to pray on behalf of a special lady within our congregation. For the past couple of weeks, Sis. Val Corcoran has been awaiting an exploratory procedure to determine whether or not the health complications she was experiencing were of cancerous nature. This morning she had the procedure performed, and it was confirmed that in fact she does have cancer of the bladder. The doctor feels that it was caught in the early stages, and for this we are grateful! Please join together with us, as we pray that God’s will is done in this situation.

Although many within the congregation did not know of this ongoing situation, God knew! It is NOT COINCIDENTAL that we had the kind of service that we did last night! Regardless of doctors reports, man’s predictions or the doubters questions, God is still a BIG GOD! “Problem, look at my God!” For those within our church that are struggling with health complications (or any other situations), stand firm on the revelation that He which hath begun a good work in us IS ABLE to complete it!

So, once again FWC, let us join together in prayer on behalf of our sister! God is able!

We apologize for the lack of “updates” on Sis. Louise Leaches condition. However, the family, as of yet, have still not heard from the doctor. Her condition remains consistent with what it has been since the initial spell on Monday night. On Tuesday she was transported to Waterville for a CAT-scan. Afterward, she was transported back to Hotel Dieu, in Perth-Andover, where she remains. As was already mentioned, the family is still waiting on the results of this diagnostic testing.

Let us continue to pray for her and the family during this difficult time!

Just a short time ago we returned from visiting with Sis. Louise Leach in the Hospital in Perth Andover. The prognosis is still uncertain, so they intend to keep her the remainder of the night for further diagnostic testing tomorrow. The preliminary diagnosis is that she has experienced a TIA, if not a complete stroke. We learned tonight that having a stroke has been a ‘fear’ of Sis. Leach’s for years. She is definitely in need of our prayers. Once again, let us bind together and pray that God’s will be done in this situation.

Thank you in advance.

Sis. Louise Leach just had a spell while at Bro. Tim Leach’s home. They are presently transporting her to Hotel Dieu, in Perth Andover via ambulance. Please remember her in prayer, as well as the family. Additionally, Sis. Shirley Shaw was hospitalized in the Grand Falls Hospital earlier this afternoon. Both of these precious ladies are in need of God’s intervention. More than anything, join with us as we pray that God’s will is accomplished in both of these situations.

We will try our best to keep the blog updated with the latest. Thanks in advance for your prayers!

Good afternoon, FWC!!!

I just wanted to present the following request before you. As you are aware, Bro. & Sis. Jeremy St.Amand are working their way through the painstaking process of adoptive paperwork and international bureaucracy. To say the least, this journey is an emotional roller coaster ride of extreme heights and dastardly depths. We continue to rejoice that God has brought them this far, and we are CONFIDENT that He who hath begun a “good work” is able to complete it! Would you please join us in focused prayer that God would intervene in this process, and bring about a SPEEDY resolution! On their behalf, let’s present this before the throne of God!

Thank you in advance! God is ABLE!

Feel free to post your comments of support for Bro. & Sis. St. Amand in response to this post! Let them know that we are not letting them fight this battle ALONE!
